Aqua d'Or:

"The spirit of wine's every aroma." This is an extremely noble drink that preserves all the aromatic virtues of wine.Aqua d'Or is the sublime soul of wine.
The magical arts of Arnau de Vilanova that are now almost seven centuries old have been recovered to make a product that is at the very vanguard of style and design.

Grape Varieties:

Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Moscatel de grano pequeno.

Description:
This delicate fragrant orange liqueur is made to an original formula, created in the 19th century by the Torres family. Selected Valencia oranges and aged brandies are used to make it. Orange peel is macerated in brandy and the mixture is flavoured with wild aromatic herbs and orange blossom honey.

Tasting Notes:
Due to its special preparation, Gran Torres is a distinctive contrast to traditional liqueurs and resembles more a mellow brandy, ennobled with subtle, spicy overtones and pleasant aromas of Mediterranean oranges.

Description:
Relaunched in most of the European Markets with new packaging befitting its quality and image. Moscatel de Grano Menudo and Moscatel de Alejandria, two grape varieties prized by the ancient Greeks and Romans, produce Moscatel Oro, a mouth-watering dessert wine.

Wine and Food:
Moscatel goes well with all types of dessert, especially fruit tarts, crème caramel, puddings, dried fruit and nuts. Also well worth trying with blue cheeses.

Tasting Notes:
Of a fine amberish colour, with dark topaz tints, it exhibits in all their splendour the fruity (orange blossom honey, candied orange, lemon peel, raisins), floral (rose, geranium, lily) and spiced (tobacco leaf, rosewood, clove) aromas of the Moscatel variety. On the palate it is a marvel of balance: its honeyed, perfumed sugars are set off by a fine fruity acidity.

Torres’ first-ever Spanish wine from outside Catalonia was made from purchased fruit at a newly acquired winery outside of Valladolid. The wine shows good color and nice plum and cherry character. It’s a bit tart and fresh for a 2003 (hot year), yet it carries some more rugged beef and smoke notes.
